Ahhh, another series ended. Thanks to the author and the translation team for all your work!
It’s kind of a bittersweet feeling, isn’t it? Even though it was a good chance they’d get together at the end, you could never quite tell where it was going—there were a lot of twists and turns, some good and some questionable. This manga had some spotty moments, but overall it was somehow very satisfying the whole way through. I liked the really strong emotions, the treatment of bullying and conformist culture in Japan, and the way the feelings developed so slowly. I wasn’t a fan of how some of the emotions came off in the back quarter, and the romantic developments specifically left a lot to be desired, but I felt like I got attached to this manga, and wanted to see its characters work things out—and in the end, isn’t that what it’s all about?
