Yeah, at first I thought this series was okay although more than a little odd, but now I think it’s just fantastic—so sweet, but nuanced, and with that rarest of yuri phenomena, a really nice guy friend.

And the art—I’m almost tempted to say the art styles, because of the on-point variations from sports-manga action to comedy to full-on paper-doll high fashion to adorable romance.

A very, very good one.

Was iffy about this first but now I'm full on in love with whatever's happening.

This story makes me so unreasonably happy, it just keeps getting better and better. It's a shame it feels like it might be ending soon but who knows.

When I started to read this, I was surprised: the art was in a style that reminded me very much of old Japanese manga from the 80s. This type of style(s) used to be rather common at the time, but eventually disappeared when moeblob style became universal and steamrolled over everything.

Who'd have thought that in Taiwan there were authors who still used it, huh?

And i vote for chapter 1 and 2 to have angst tag they gave me so much feels that I was expecting that most of the chapters would make my heart wretched BUT THEN BOOM CHAPTER 3 IS SO SWEET THE DIFFERENCE THO

This is genuinely hard to read because it's just so good. Definitely one of my favourite romances in a long, long time.

That sequence leading into, but especially continuing on page 12 is such amazing visual storytelling, characterization, and artistic execution. Just genuinely super adorable and pleasant to read. Phew.
