Hey everyone, just wanted to give an update on Chapter 8. Unfortunately, I lost my scanlation partner (my dog) right as I was beginning the chapter which completely derailed my progress. I plan on picking it back up this weekend with hopes of finishing it by the middle of next week, just bear with me!

If Mai-chan wasn't so innocently portrayed, I would've thought she was Hitomi's hired guard who needs to pretend to be a 10 year old kid so she can be with her in class for protective detail.

So its unclear from the TL comments but is this still ongoing? Or you just want to work from the tanks and vol2 isnt out yet even tho more chapters are out in a magazine? Either way thanks for all the work on this series- i've really enjoyed it so hope there's more!

As you say she acts too like her age. Also it would be terrible cover since she looks nothing like a 10yr old lol. They'd find a small female bodyguard who blended in better. Or the bodyguard would be a teacher.

I still keep my believe of Mai having something, however she is 10, so she doesn't know how to call the felling she has on her chest. If you recall, when Tae suggested she was feeling jealous she didn't deny it, she was merely confused. Tae cut the topic as she thought that wasn't the case, but as we see it: that was the case, Mai is just too young to fully comprehend the concept.

It is still weird to support a 23 yo relationship with a 10yo, but personality wise, is not a bad development.

@ V-Oblivion Its not wierd as long as Tae is honerable and waits- there's no harm. No way is she the sort to take advantage of her. It seems even her far more dodgey friend knows she cant do anything.

I laughed so much when Tae's friend, who is pretty much Minori from this manga, saw Mai-chan leaving Tae's tent and thought they had been doing the naughty all night.
