This series should be renamed to Useless drama

Jesus Christ those faces are just so damn funny. Even when the drama is turned up to 11 it's hard to take it seriously. These girls have issues and it's going to take a lot more than "love" to fix it.

And that was why Niki was saved for.

Let's be honest, Kuro needed someone from "outside" to give her a reality check.

Maybe I just don’t share y’alls sense of humor, but I really don’t see what’s funny about their faces. Ajiichi is amazing at drawing raw, unbridled emotion.

I’m sorry but... Who’s that girl at the end? Honestly, i forgot most of the characters in this manga since for like 20 chapters during the middle it became a nonsense

Ding dong, that’s the sound of Kurosawa needing therapy, like yesterday.

Kurokawa PLS. The overly dramatic dialogue is so entertaining tho. About time their constant shouting got another character's attention.

I'm surprised Izumi didn't do anything. She looked pissed too since as she said in the chapter, she dealt with her own feelings for Fujishiro head on. Meanwhile, Kuro is over here hiding below the pedestal she put Fujishiro on.

Miki smacked her down using reality...mygad Fujishiro deserves better. As chapter goes by, I really don't want them to end up with each other

Kinda funny how most of us thought that Izumi or Miki were gonna be the big obstacles/antagonists of the story, but now Kurokawa’s become the final boss and the former two are being the rational ones

Ugh overly dramatic and with their faces, i feel like they’re about to swing their swords and fight, lol

I’m actually kind of glad Kuro blew up like that. Even if she is technically in the wrong, the whole “think about how they must feel” line is so tired and honestly not healthy for any relationship. Kuro can say things like “I didn’t want her to change” but in reality, she’s someone who only had the daily routine to keep her stable. Fujishiro comes in and completely destroys that routine, often for the better, but it still leads to frustration when it comes to a head like this. This explosion has been building up for a long time, and it’s cathartic to see her take some agency.

Am I reading too much into it? Perhaps. But I love how this series hasn’t turned me off yet. I’m still here for the drama. Every action a character takes has me excited to see what happens next.

lol, we were all expecting the drama but wtf is with this insane level of overly dramatic angst? and drawing their eyes like that xD

also, Kurokawa needs some real therapy cause this level of inferiority complex is just something else.

Also, it kinda makes no sense that there was basically no effect on her with being friends for a while now. You'd think that even with the stupid amounts of inferiority that she has, being friends with Nanaki would have at least toned that down a bit, as they spent time together and all that.

In the end, this drama should have been handled throughout the story as a continuous plot point, not all at once at the end... poor writing and just way too overly dramatic :/

I’ve been getting used to pretty much any possible human behavior being described as “unhealthy” in the Dynasty forums, but “thinking about how the other person in a relationship feels” is a new one on me.

Well, that sure didn't go well.

I do wonder about the translation here, though. She was rejected, not dumped. Dumped implies having gone out.

holy shit, this is getting more complicated than i thought. Kurokawa definitely needs to work on her issues first, at this point i'm not even sure if i want them to be together.

Thanks for the translation!

None of this popularity stuff matters after high school. You'll have people who are prom queens graduate and then ending up as just normal office workers like the rest of the average population

The funny thing is just how over the top insane Kuro is acting. Like she is acting like she witnessed someone brutally murdered instead of just being confessed to by her best friend. Her whole reasoning and reaction is so ungodly insane its funny. Like this girl straight up treating another person like shit for being a human instead of her ideal romcom character.

These characters would be a feast for a therapist.

True for so many series. I’m given to understand that mental-health counseling is not a big thing in Japan, although supposedly that’s changing.

But has psychological counseling/therapy ever been depicted in a yuri manga? Or in any manga at all?

I might be recalling a couple of allusions to some extremely troubled character having “seen specialists” or something like that, but I can’t think of any actual scene in a therapist’s or psychiatrist’s office. (The closest thing I can think of are heart-to-heart talks with a homeroom teacher.)

But yeah, I’d be willing to chip in for therapy for both the MCs myself (Fujo for short-term depression, Kuro for the long haul).
