Having gotten into Hololive and vtubers a bit late, (only a month or two before EN was announced) I have a very blurry understanding of Matsuri's relationships (platonic and otherwise) outside of this pairing.

That said, this pairing is so incredibly sweet. I usually find Luna's 0 year-old princess shtick a bit grating, but when these two are together they're so dang cute and sweet and adorable and precious and wonderful that it doesn't even register.

^Except she doesn't look like a donkey, because a donkey's ears are very full at the base, they're also fluffier and rounder. There's all kinds of rabbits with big ears. It's just for some reason people mistake her ears for donkey ears, and won't let the meme go. Also to each their own but I'll always prefer bunny girls, and Amiya is a great reason why I love bunny girls.

Your aren't wrong in that assumption, but I'd say that, counting only the anime, they've been responsible for the most gayest moment so far in the franchise.
