The whole "she isnt grown up but her love is" and the adult getting bothered and flushed by the kid? Come on now.

I think you're making this into a way bigger deal than it needs to be. The adult got flustered because the young girl surprised her with a kiss on the cheek, there was never any indication of her suddenly awakening to romantic or sexual feelings for the young girl. I think the line at the end is just stating that she's a young girl but she's developed a crush on an adult, instead of someone her age. The entire thing feels extremely innocent, and I don't see any need to over think it.

I remember recently people on here got into a huge argument over a 4 page simple short comic. Do we need constant drama when there genuinely shouldn't be any? It just gets so tiring.

Melon bread is so-so but childhood romance is adorable.

This feels cute and innocent enough. I don't think the onee-san will try anything funny, so it will most likely stay as a childhood crush. Maybe the kid will go for older girls when she grows up though.

Lolicon its always wholesome, also find it weird that people who not into lolicon keep reading them despite the tags.

2021 goals: disaggregate the Loli from Lolicon

Let's be honest here. Where there's the one, there's usually the other, even if only on the other side of the screen...

I don't really like the idea of loli as a tag since it seems like it would get overused for things that just have lolis present; eg. 3gatsu no lion, yuru yuru, etc; instead of indicating that they're involved in the romance as the one with the crush or something similar; this, the structural formula of first love.

I mean dynasty also tags works that have loli falling in love/dating other loli, so I think Loli as a tag has its uses too. And well dynasty already tags any work that have loli, regardless if they're involved in romance or not as Lolicon confusing people reading those works even more. I had to explain to people multiple times that on dynasty lolicon can just mean "A loli is present", when they asked confused about the tag.

Which one? I kinda want to check it out to see what the fuss is about. Unless it's the top energy comic with the maid, in which case, nvm

Yeah, the works under lolicon simultaneously include the most wholesome and the most paedophilic stuff on this site, so creating a Not Lolicon tag would really help the people looking for the former and also cut down from the drama from betrayed expectations. I personally feel like I'm stepping on an old landmine every time I click a work with the tag, so I'd like not to turn a morning scroll through Dynasty into a gamble where the stakes for losing are a faceful of kiddie porn.

While some distinction does seem worth making, I can only anticipate Not Lolicon becoming a chronically disputed tag.

While the primary functions of tags are as sorting mechanisms/trigger warnings, ideally they should also serve to head off comment threads descending into shitshows. As some comments in this thread demonstrate, even the most anodyne onee-loli stories can’t seem to escape the inevitable moralistic posturing.

Yup, that's the one. I was vague about it, but you knew instantly what I was talking about. It goes to show just how nonsense that drama all was.

I spot one moralizing commentator. In general, we won't be tolerating people who can't read tags in the future, hopefully drawing down on the need you describe. This thread gets an exception since Wholesome and Lolicon are a bit of a unique mix.

I don't think Not Lolicon is going to be the tag. I'm also not super interested in tags like Child that can be easily misconstrued as "I spotted a kid, so the tag must fit." This is lower on my priority list right now, but this thread has been a useful one nonetheless.

What about complaints about the absence of tags that the staff constantly refuse to accept adding them due to SPOYLERZ? It's not fair to crack down on one problem while endorsing the opposite one despite it being equally problematic (just in a different way).

I have no problem with complaints about tagging decisions, but I don't think these are equal. Imagine two scenarios.

"This needs the Lolicon tag, I feel sick" is a perfectly acceptable and meaningful post if the work in question is missing that tag.

"This is sick, and harmful. You're normalizing pedophilia" is unacceptable on a work that already has the Lolicon tag.

In the first instance, the user has not chosen to experience a particular type of content but received it anyway, thus they're "allowed" to voice their displeasure. Assuming the tag was left off intentionally, threads like this are trainwrecks (for valid reasons) anyway, so I can't say I'm terribly concerned with legislating them.

In the second, the user actively chose to engage with content they knew - or at the least, had a good indication - they would dislike, and then chose to share their dislike of said content with other users who do not share their sensibilities. This pretty neatly falls under Rule 1, "don't be a jerk." Everyone on the site should be free to engage with the labeled content they enjoy without having to argue the very premise of said content existing.

If I am able, I certainly intend to address the spoiler issues in the coming months as well. Unfortunately that just takes quite a bit more effort and cooperation than enforcing the rules that already exist.

The responses to stories with a “cheating” tag are the ones that get to me, for some reason—it’s not that I “like” or “am OK” with real-life people cheating, but cheating can certainly be part of an interesting story.

The parade of “cheaters are the worst—why does this story even exist!!?” posts always strike me like the comment-thread equivalent of Chinatsu’s drawings in Yuru Yuri, only without the humorous context.

And then there’s age-gap and student-teacher . . .

Being wary of paedophilia being positively portrayed equals moralizing, got it. The truth will catch up to you fuckers about lolicon.

There are places to express that wariness, and many more to have that discussion. A thread clearly marked with content you're not interested in seeing, full of people with values differing from your own, is likely not appropriate for either. I'm really at a loss for why you chose to push the envelope in this particular thread, of all places. Oh well, what's done is done.

Please consider avoiding manga and threads labeled with Lolicon when your ban expires. Given your history and inability to avoid personal attacks, I think 30 days will suffice. Thank you, take care.

Random question, is the anthology complete? Also, I remember there were several anthologies with slightly different names, does anyone happen to know all the names and order of release? I'd like to binge read the whole set.

I'm not entirely sure of the question, but if it's purely the Onee-loli anthologies you're after, there's 3 volumes that could presumably be read in order. One, Two, Three. From my understanding, none of the volumes have been completely translated yet!

Yes those, thank you! But, IIRC there where also other anthologies that had different food names at the beginning (which also included other topics besides Onee-loli but for now I want to start with only the Onee-loli ones), do you also happen to know how many of those variants are there? (Like, is the "Parfait" version the first one?)
