Seriously though, what a huge age gap, never expected to see this sort of stuff on here, not complaining though, it's like a fresh breath of air, granny's such a chad.

Also dammit! page 34 got me!

Great one-shot. I don't think that's a common theme in the yuri we usually get TL. As usual, SAD picks the most interesting manga.

I thought we would never see it since it would have been subjected to criticisms.

Still, I loved it and this is a masterpiece.

Thankfully, it seems every single comment has been positive (outside of the people asking to see the painting lol).

this is one of the better age gap yuris I've read in a long time. I know I've come across a few that would involve a much more older woman but some were short and not well written out. this was perfect gem to read.

The author did a good job of showing what growing up can feel like

Stud grandma past was hype

Second time reading this one shot. Damn. This was sweet.

By Eriko's reaction, the art was more than flattering. I assume it was her first time to be validated as someone worthy despite having bedded women before falling in love with "an old hag."

I never knew this is what I needed, until I knew I needed it.

I know what you mean!

So we don't see the painting?

That is common. You also read stories about poets where you never read their poetry. The artist/author doesn't want to take the risk of hyping the art of the protagonist in the story and then presenting their own art and having people feel disappointed in what they saw/read. It's one of those self-preservation things creators do to prevent looking back at their work and cringing. (The way Billy Joel does about the song "C'était Toi (You Were the One)", about which he has given aspiring songwriters the advice to never write a song in a language you don't speak.)

Or put another way, what the author can create would never measure up to what the reader imagines based on the description. Very common when depicting in-universe artistic works in fiction.

This made me tear up a bit. Just goes to show that after 30, age is just an arbitrary number.

This story really resonated with me. I’ve already read through it many times and it’s something so beautiful about it that I can’t really describe. I think this has been some of the best yuri one shot I’ve read and it felt so real. I’m not very fond of the age gap genre/tag, but this really surprised me in a good way. I wish I could find more like this. That grandmother is a fkn Chad! <3

That was a nice change from the norm, thank you very much Akiba Detectives.

Not sure why people are calling her granny/grandmother mind.
