Yes, I love these two so much! I'll take as many chapters with them as there are of the main idiot couple!

As an aside there's a curious pattern of all the evident drama-involved characters so far being connected to Yatsude to some degree - namely Tsubaki, one half of the badly messed up sibling relationship (and thusly indirectly Hiiragi), and there's clearly some kind of less than entirely pleasant history between her and Yamashiro.

Oh, interesting. I noticed that the results board in Hiiragi's flashback is for Seirin Academy, the one Tsubaki said had "cute uniforms." I wonder if she failed to get in, despite being academically strong and getting a medal for kendo, which prompted her "useless" comments. Or maybe she got in, and Hiiragi didn't, and Tsubaki said something along the lines of being okay with turning down Seirin and going to whatever school Hiiragi got into because she would be "useless" without Hiiragi. Hiiragi may have thought Tsubaki was being flippant, while Tsubaki truly believed she couldn't do anything without her sister by her side. Whatever the case, communication is key here, girls.

I really like Ningiyau's writing. Often dropping in little story threads amidst all the silliness. It flows so smoothly.

Unlike Tsubaki, who's mostly friendless due to severe social anxiety issues and visibly suffers from it, Hiiragi gives the impression of being solitary out of preference and mostly plain uninterested in socialising with people

Sure, but so far we've seen Hiiragi has no problems interacting with people when she wants to - that's just really rare.

The reasons for her aloofness rapidly turned out to be pretty grim tho... :/

It’s not one shoe fits all. Take me for example. I don’t have friends who I can talk to because of social anxiety dating all the way back to my youth (aside from like family friends - basically family). However, if I get comfortable around people, I can’t shut up. And in recent years, I’ve gotten better with interacting with strangers. Although, I’m comfortable by myself, I’m still working on socializing more with others.

I'm starting to think the "idiot couple" tag might not be enough. It seems like we need an "idiot cast" tag for this one.
