A manga featuring a woman and a teenage girl that acknowledges the predatory nature of the older woman? I'm shocked.

I agree. I think thats what makes this series so moving for me even though the story is not healthy.

I agree. And I'm still hoping for their relationship to become healthy so we'll have a nice satisfying ending.

I like this, don't get me wrong, I love super fluffy age-gap relationships like Itou Hachi normally does. But I like this as well, showing the true manipulative side that comes from a pairing like this, and all the toxicity involved.

We will soon need a chart to know who likes you.

Between Aya, Sensei, the gyaru, Haruki and the absent ex-best-friend. As they say, "it's complicated".

Notwithstanding the toxicity of all these relationships. Even Aya x Haruki doesn't seem healthy.

This reminds me of another manga with a similar premise but “fluffier” and ends with the teacher/student couple going on a double date with the student’s best friend and boyfriend.

But I definitely agree, the drawings really hit the point. Like how sensei’s all sweet and cute for a moment. Then bam! A panel later she looking like a real psycho.

I'm pretty sure AyaxSensei is the end game. Aya is already in love with Sensei, she just doesn't know it yet or maybe. Aya wants true emotions from Sensei, but she isn't giving that kind of thing to her, which is sad. Sensei is the problematic one. If she could learn how to love someone again, it would be a happy ending. She has to get over all her traumatized emotions, and leave it in the past. We can say that she was just a victim. (?) Her lovelife was a failure in her whole life. She is sexually frustrated, because she's surrounded by boy crazy hs girls, and one time when she was in love, she was rejected by her best friend. So it's not that she was this psycho in her whole life. Childhood friend is just a jealous girly, who cant have Aya, that's why she acting crazy.

Man 2 chapters in and everyone looks evil lol. So much scheming and what not

Aya looks scarily like me, and acts like I did too (until the trainwreck part starts). I would never have let things go as far as she has, but some of this feels kind of personal...
