Yup :) The last panel alone is the pay out the whole manga is building lol.

Seeing the older proud but failing sister who tried so hard- humiliated and giving in and accepting becoming her younger sisters cute little trophy wife in the pretty dress - knowing she was being made to surrender to her little sister the queen- and now her wife- in bed every night - delicious haha.

That said, while she would have been so frustrated and humiliated to start with ~I bet she became happy with all that loving soon enough :)

Yeah... It might be because https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/daughters_of_the_demon_queen#6 she has some kind of demonic arm that she didn't had when she was younger, maybe some replacement she got as commander... Interesting detail for a one shot.

For all the people calling this a happy end, I'd just like to point out that the older sister wasn't really a failure or an incompetent as her younger sister was constantly sabotaging her from behind the scenes. Given her behavior for most of the one shot, it seems like she'd very much not like how things ended. She just gave in and became her sister's wife because she had no other choice.

I really wouldn't call this a happy end.

I think this is the first Mochi story I've read where the rampant incest and weird power dynamics actually seem to fit the setting; They must have had fun with this one.

As an aside, I really like the way Mochi depicts girls that are a little butchy, not just plastering a "boyish haircut" on them.

Constant failure. Unable to achieve any goal. Being constantly looked down by everyone.

Whenever I see these kind of scenarios, I always imagine the character will commit suicide after the story.
