From what I'm reading here, I wouldn't call that chance low at all. HPV and BV has a similar prelevance to the general cis female population. Trans women are at disproportionate risk of HIV, especially black trans women (though the CDC's report doesn't detail the data for trans WSW in particular, as the data is pretty scarce). Basically, don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Also don't assume your personal experience is representative. You may just be lucky.

Well you really have to go super wild to get a STD between girls. I mean, sure, they do distribute those safe packs in my usual bar, but to be honnest the only thing I got sleeping with random girls without protection, so far, is lice in my hairs due to an ex having kindergarden nieces.

Not saying this is impossible or that you shouldn't protect yourself. But the chance is still pretty low.

As far as this manga goes, well, it's Kurogane Ken. It's not bad, it's just not good. This manga especially was obviously a no-scenario x-rated excuses since the very beginning so it comes as no surprise.

Reminds me of that joke once told by Red Foxx where the punchline is: "Dammit, man! Now I've got it!"

-- just for once would I like to see safe sex illustrated in a manga correctly... Oh wait, I think the title is called, "Stretch". (Joke)

I'm confused over the honorific "Nee". I understand the honorific "-Chan" and "San". But "Nee" needs to be explained to me. No, I didn't mean, Ni!, I meant -Nee.

I'm asking this because although the subjects studied by the characters reflect college level topics, thus indicating they are older than age of consent, they're physically drawn as much younger. I'd like to know if the manga published over there revealed character's age as younger than it seems in current translation?

Thats why I'm asking about -Nee honorific. It's a small detail left out by translation team that shows their true age when a little bit of editing allowed the manga to avoid the "loli"-tag.

I assume they're studying "college level" courses the way I studied biology in middle school and college.

Different countries have different systems, and what you think of as "college level" courses may be a high school or middle school requirement elsewhere due to cultural/social influences.

I thought this manga was called Tae-Chan and Jimiko-San, not Tae-Chan and Jimiko-San and All These Sluts

I think you both read too much into this. Like the translator stated above, the "bar exam" and "basic signal processing" was probably a joke from the author.

Hmmm, I've had to put a bit of thought into the issue of age. To be honest, when I first read this I assumed Rise was in high school and Kuyou was in elementary school. But I was just judging by appearance. Here's my current thought process:

Rise might be in high school, or she might have recently graduated. She attends a 予備校 or yobiko, which is an intensive university exam prep school. Some are all-day programs aimed at "ronin", high school graduates who failed to get into university and want to prepare for a second attempt, and some are after-school programs for current high school students. Since we see her wear a high school uniform so often, I'm leaning towards her being in high school, but that's mainly just a guess.

The meaning of the "nee" ending plays a bit of role in determining how old Kuyou is. In general it's used for someone who fits the role of an older sister. Plus it's a term of familiarity, so people can use it however it suits them, especially in manga. From that alone, you can't really tell their exact relationship. Maybe they're ten years apart, maybe a year. However, that term of address plus the way Rise treats Kuyou and the way Kuyou acts and speaks gives me the impression she's a few years younger.

What about the books? Maybe they're the author's attempt to misdirect about age (don't know why he'd bother, considering the crap that get's published). Maybe these are subjects covered by university entrance exams. Maybe I'm interpreting all the other clues wrong and these girls are in their 20s. All I know is I've spent way too much time going back and re-reading this series for hints, researching different types of exam schools, double-checking every line, all searching for the answer to "How old are the girls in this porn manga?" I hate leaving a question unanswered, even the really meaningless ones. In the end, I'm basically back where I started, and all I've realized is that I really just don't want to know.

Edit:

I think you both read too much into this.

Now that makes three of us.

Thank you for explaining this to me. I now understand why you’ve responded... you’re the dude who translated it! I think it would help others understand who you are if you add an identifier next to your screen name like Nezchan does with the “Moderator” identifier. That way, you’d have a voice of authority (not like Nezchan, but an expert in translating and culture stuff) instead of opinions.

I disagree with the cheating tag.

None of these girls are in a committed relationship. They sleep around, okay, but they are all fairly open about it. And you added the tag just after a gay for pay chapter. This is nonsense.

For all we know, next chapter, they will do a 3some. Where will your cheating tag be then?

You just reduced open relationships to cheating. You disappoint me Dynasty.

Have you tried down voting the tag?

They put tags here based on what we read, NOT by personal interpretation of the story. That gay for pay and cheating tags you saw is an obvious shit and everyone would've agreed to let it sit there.

Otherwise, how can we find this work if you let it rot for another 3-4 years? Yes. You find it by searching for the tags.

'I won't let you go', damn..... Like a lollipop accidentally dropped on the ground, it was dirty but still sweet and at the same time made me want to cry... Also, I'd still eat it after a rinse... hoping Takako feels the same way heheh. Rise is young so I guess maybe it is something kinda hard to defy especially amongst woman? #Imallfortheharemrouteanyway

Sure she probably isn't really cheating but they have gone on dates so I don't know what you would call that and the blondie made it kind of clear she was at least a little bit emotionally invested in the relationship

Also I don't think she had the intent of cheating though since it seemed she only did that with her friend because she actually wants confirmation that she and the blondie are dating and aren't just friends with benefits

Emotional investment and exclusivity are two different things. You can have emotional investment in an open or a poly relationship. People often equate love with a desire for exclusivity. This is not necessarily the case.

This author made it clear that these girls here aren't that much into monogamous relationships. Even the character isn't sure it's cheating. At this rate, every open relationship should be tagged cheating, with the negative connotation that comes with it.

The cheating tag here feels, to me, like a judgment, a disapproval. I don't need Dynasty to tell me what is right and what is wrong, especially about open relationships.

Well yeah I initially added a comment about trans women having a higher risk due to previous homosexuality, prostitution, etc., but it felt a bit pointless.

Eating the pussy of someone you don't know without a dental protection is not indicated anyway. ;D

At this rate , we'll go down to have 2 years old kids. Should I continue to read?

Kinda depends. It certainly gets dumber, but entertainingly dumber.

Read the thread. Consider how many tag requests might've come out of that, let alone those who didn't post. You read it differently, and that's completely acceptable. Tags are meant to a) accurately portray events in a story and b) warn readers about potentially objectionable elements within the story. They are never intended as moral judgement of any kind. A tag like Bad End does not exist for the characters within the story, it exists for the effect the story may have on prospective readers. This Cheating tag is much the same - many reading this chapter are already shipping two specific characters for in-text reasons, now one of those characters is getting involved with a different character. This is either Cheating or Polyamory, and the story does not, as of yet, establish which it is. Thus, for the time being, we use the Cheating tag to warn potential readers about an element they may find objectionable.

This is not meant as a post to argue with or defend, but rather to explain. However, I do appreciate your perspective otherwise, and we'll take another look at the series as a whole to be sure that the tagging is appropriate.

I feel like this should be separate cases, this new girl will have a new arc, which will NTR her friend and so on, until everything ties with the two main in a whole big f*** fest, nothing wrong with that, going wild is fine sometimes, we should not read between the lines too much and just enjoy the ride lol

Of all characters in this series, I think Rise is the most fucked up.
