It wasn't gonna be an ending that would please everyone. Obviously going for a "kiss the loli" ending wasn't gonna happen, because it pretty much goes against all of Mimika's development. And thinking about it, going for the "you're 18 now, you know what that means" ending would probably be awkward for other reasons (mainly that none of you dorks can probably even picture what an 18-year-old Yuzumori would look like). This is a pretty fitting ending that emphasises the romantic aspect rather than the lewd aspect.

Either way, there'll probably be more content in the fifth tank coming out in May.

I don't remember hearing anything about Happy Sugar Life finishing.

Mimika looks good as an adult.

I wanted a bigger timeskip and a kiss. It kinda felt like an bonus chapter, since the last chapter wrapped things up already.

Every tank so far had some bonus material, I'm pretty sure the last one will too.

I think this ending was a little low key, but fit the series. Another 6 years on the timeskip so Yuzu was 18 would have felt like we missed too much, this let us see Mimika keeping to her promise and show that they still cared.

We know adult Yuzu is still cute, we saw her in the first volumes bonus material; non cannon it may be but no reason to think the design would change!

I'd love to read more, but I think the series was having trouble seeing where to go without forced drama or straying in to areas it seems pretty clear the author didn't want to hit.

All in all, a really lovely series I'm very happy to have read. I hope Ejima Eri does some more yuri works!

Nice series. Decision to not have them kiss was interesting, but probably for the best. Yuzumori-san tackled a controversial subject, and unlike Kodomo no Jikan, managed to handle it and finish it with taste and tact.

So the Ririha drama amounted to absolutely nothing. Way to drag it out into a dud ending.

It was a good ending, I was expecting a bigger time skip buuut this is fine too. I am also hoping for an epilogue c: like in "notes from the garden of lillies"

Yep, time skipped ahead a bit and then ended. I'm fine with this. Got a bit of development and they're together. Would have liked to see more Yuzumori top leading Mimika on though.

This manga was ruined by all the stupid kid drama that was completely pointless and didn't go anywhere.
