"For all sad words of tongue and pen, The saddest are these, 'It might have been'." I quite like the story and because of that it saddens me that it will not bear fruit. I will stay and see where it goes.
(And every chapter has at least one special little comedic touch. In this case it was Arisa’s four “yesses” to the clerk’s inscription suggestion. Any author could do two—it’s the 4x that makes it Arisa.)
Three yesses would be insufficient, five would of course be absurd.
