I dont say that you are a pervert automaticaly when your aunt are one, but you have more chance to have genetic tendency of dopamine/serotonin deficit.
Wait, is that actually scientifically proven? I've seen this chart regarding the brain chemicals and the level of each one for different feelings. But are there any researches like that regarding sex related divergences?
My original phrase is: I dont say that you are a pervert automaticaly when your aunt are one, but you have more chance to have genetic tendency of dopamine/serotonin deficit and/or to be exposed to traumatic memory that can pass between generation.
I linked somes research on tendency of drug addiction in this, because sex addiction, is also a kind of addiction, sex is used to fill the gap of dopamine or serotonin (and somes more) need. The "and/or" is very important because addiction is a extreme complex pathology, so i agree with scientist who think genetic and environment is both important receipe. You can find one study here: https://www.drugabuse.gov/publications/drugfacts/genetics-epigenetics-addiction
Chemical imbalance: https://americanaddictioncenters.org/health-complications-addiction/chemical-imbalance
quote: "[...] A high level of drug dependency, co-occurring medical or mental health disorders, polydrug abuse, family history of addiction, high levels of stress, experience of trauma, and low level of support at home can all contribute to the onset of addiction."
I think it make no sense talking about winner or loser here. If nobody win, nobody lose
That's not totally true. You could not win, but at the same time ruin the chance that another one wins. Yoru just playing for playing, maybe she's in an unhappy marriadge and looking for other options, or just taking revenge for her husband's cheating, but she has not feelings for Sei, not beyond "that foot licker from highschool" (literally and figuratively talking). Sei hurts Aya's feelings and herself, she knows that Yoru has not feelings for her and keep runing on circles on a toxic and self-humillating relationship. Aya just being harm for Sei's autodestruction, sick of being a replacement for Yoru, but too in love to leave.
Looks like there's a winner there? When you literally talk about a game, there's no winners without losers and vice versa, but in real life is not that factical.
I just can't relate to those 2 term. In my mind it's like "the winner take it all". You cannot win life. You lives your life as you control your body and make decisions. You can say we strive to win our bad self (Aya being stronger?) but then Aya is responsible for her own failure (against your expectation). You can only win a circumstance when you are confronting with a bad one. It's like how dark create light by its contrast. But that's something else. The 'winner' or the 'loser' titles are something i can't bear because of it depicts how you see life (or social life) as a competition, when there are actually none.
From my point of view, Sei's character is kind of mixed between a nympho and a yandere. Maybe because of her past, maybe she born with that "gene" originaly.
Interesting, genes also do play a part in someone's character development, and not just the environment they grew up in. For example with psychopaths, it is because of genes.
I haven't read much about how kinks get developed, but from what I've seen environment here does play a part. Although different people turn out differently if they are put in exactly the same situations, and that's because of their DNA. Like for example, being an introvert is in the genes.
Sei probably already had the leaning for perversion to begin with, but I also think there's gotta be something wrong with her family too.
I completely agree with you, the things about her natural tendency of perversion, and something wrong with her family are actually things come in pair. I dont say that you are a pervert automaticaly when your aunt are one, but you have more chance to have genetic tendency of dopamine/serotonin deficit and/or to be exposed to traumatic memory that can pass between generation. I took that combo from my aunt unfortunately.
From my point of view, Sei's character is kind of mixed between a nympho and a yandere. Maybe because of her past, maybe she born with that "gene" originaly. Sei's duality created of a libido possessive beast and a whiny dependant magnet puts her in constant conflict we all know. Some people need medical help constanly for that. Her fetish of foot licking make me think that Yoru is like a idol in Sei's eye. At the same time she want to sanctify Yoru (the cooler one), yet she also want to devour and consuming Yoru (her ideal sex partner). But Sei never love Yoru's character. Sei hates it when she saw Yoru became a whiny girl in front of the boys. It's not only jalousy.
Comparing to Sei, Yoru is much more in control. She's just someone who always need a convenient partner that click all of her list (a succeseful handsome kind man blah blah). Yoru's hot and cold character is just like every single straight girl that i be friend with =_=. I didn't mean every straight one's like that but still a whole LOT! Yoru hate being left off so of course she will pict Sei, her ideal convenient partner that never left her. Yoru likes men but she also likes security for sure. Just a casual bitchy character, nothing more nothing left. I'd love that the author go into develop Yoru's character with a positive polygamory vibe, she have potential quality for that you know, but well i doubt that it will be long! '
It's very hard to talk about trauma and whatever happened to Sae must have been pretty seriously traumatic of she loses her appetite just by getting a little brush with it. No pictures at all of the school prince? That's hard to believe.
My guess is she got caught or outed to her dad and things got bad. It doesn't seem to have been a scandal at the school since the other students were so flippant, but something definitely happened.
Trauma is a cruel thing that can distort the victim emotion. I mean as for my own experience, I can only found and understand how to love by healing myself with times. Even now somes trauma memory can even reverse what i thought is love to something else.
When you feel hurtful, the only thing you can focus on, is how painful it is. That what pains do. I feel so related to Sae, i was a prince, and i do cut off all of my picture that time, this is so eerie. It's like that past never happened, but well deep inside, it come haunting you, because you seal the pain deep inside and let nobody correct your distorted traumatized memory.
I feel like Saeko's sexual attraction to Miwa is still her main reason for liking her.
Saeko is crazy in love with Miwa.
That much should be obvious to everyone at this point of things.
I think it's 95% about sexual attraction.
You can't love someone by hiding every side of your hurtful part, and also, never really tolerate the weak part of your partner.
I think Sae likes Miwa a WHOLE lot, but it's not love (yet?).
could just be me, but it feels like we've gone past realism and into tedium.
For me it's gone past realism into flashback agony.
Feel like my Miwa-like ex gonna haunt me for long. I was literally Saeko. The more i read the more i feel like it gonna turn my stomac inside out. I love how long this take to torture us reader.
This is just a porn manga and this whole plot is just a fetish for the author
Have you not read any of his/her other work?
Kurogane manga always has a wierd feel to it and this one is not an exception
Yes yes yes and yes!!! That 'weird feel' fetish is exactly the unique trait of Kurogane manga.
This is pure bliss for a 'polygamist' like me o(^^o)(o^^o)(o^^o)(o^^)o
It's probably heading down the poly route, but let's just admit that at this point in the story, it's just a bunch of sex fiends cheating on each other. I mean, characters profess their undying love to their long sought after partners, wanting them to be their one and only but then goes on to sleep with previous partners (or with just anyone in proximity) behind their lovers' backs. They'll maybe get around to all agree it's okay cause they all love each other, go on to have an orgy, then sorta all live together screwing like bunnies every day though.
I think monogamy and polygamy share a dichotomy side that one shapes another. Love is just a word, the things that you share with differents persons are never the same. I think in this chapter, the word "first love" might trigger people. But well, "like a virgin", everytime i fall in love, i feel that's my "first love", or sometimes even my "first true love". So i have a lot of "first true love", but it doesnt make me love my current gf/lover less. I do love the term orgy on your critic tho..(since an org were originally a fallen elf, so even a pure elf can screw up really bad). I mean it's just a kind of life style you know, a very dionysian one indeed.
