First off, she wasn't stopped "for a whole day". Chinese schools get out late afternoon/early evening, so they don't have that long to hang out after school. I know the translation said "She didn't show up that evening", but that doesn't mean she never contacted her to say "go home without me, I have to take care of something today", which would be the polite response to a serious delay. In fact, the next scene in the plot we got (the sweet potato scene, which we know was the next time they saw each other because QT had SJ's coat with her) QT asked if she finished her business, implying that they had been in contact.
Don't you love it when you have to make up your own stories and assumptions to fill in serious plotholes? I certainly don't, but that it what is required for any of this to make sense. Why end a chapter with a depressed QT while pointing out SJ never showed up and then make the audience assume that they talked off panel? My absolute favorite is that QT is blushing the entire time anticipating to see SJ again and yet that also magically disappears when finally face to face.
We still don't know how SJ let down Mo, or what Mo's reaction was, which is frustrating to me, but I'm still holding out hope that QT asks about it and we get a flashback or a recap.
Nah, looks like it's just going to get dropped completely, like the reaction from the group when SJ claimed QT at the party. Why would QT even ask when its already been a week since?
When there's drama we complain and now when there isn't we complain too :D we dont' deserve yuri TwT
The problem is that Tanjiu just drops the drama halfway through writing it.
