The story's structure was odd.

I mean it started with some angst and melancholy and "oh noes, she will never see me as a lover!", then, after the kiss, it took a sharp turn to comedy and it was all played for laugh.

That was nice nevertheless.

The whole world is a trope anyway! We just keep on repeating things again and again with just different values for the setting, is all.

Otherwise, very nice story. I thought it has an historical setting (cause of the dresses) but it was cool nonetheless.

Eh, that trope is pretty much one of the oldest when it comes to romance - think of poetry or serenading; or heroes going about solving this or that quest to demonstrate their love.

Maybe this is a little differently nuanced, but the mechanism is similar.

The art is beautiful. Don't really understand the plot though. I thought I hit jackpot when the girl said "it would be tragic if you only ever love me as a doll" because well, that is a setup line for drama and possibly some angsty ending, but then the author decides to go for a comedy route. Hmmmm, I was most confused by the part where the tailor starts wearing feminine clothes, what is the meaning of that?? (well, I will assume it is fanservice for now, because damn that is one hot chick)
