The Yuri (only) goddess was created by the Universe in answer to our prayers. She represents Dynasty Readers. She battles daily to prove Her greatness.

That's ok. She's just a false yuri goddess. The real one is on the credits page.

That said, the goddess of love also has some issues. I mean, why was she trying to break up that couple?

She wasn't trying to break up the couple, she was just trying to do her job as the goddess of heterosexuality. She clearly wasn't aware that there was a third party involved.
