@Just a goddess with her guardian So they're new characters from the "My Beloved Auguste" Event that's going on right now and they're childhood friends who kept running into each other on vacation and during Meg's fifth Vacation she rescued Mari from dying when Mari's boyfriend ditched her and Mari fell HARD for Meg
Gerald might be in the lead currently (mostly because of the previous engagement, but also for other stuff), but Katarina spends a lot of time gushing over how pretty her girl friends are and how Maria'd make an amazing wife.
Even if she keeps saying she's straight after, it comes off as "The lady protests too much"
@Sakura Cartelet as much as I'd love a romantic reunion between Monkey girl and Ai-chan Sophia's always been shown as more interested in getting her brother to marry Katarina than marrying Katarina herself.
She looks like she makes a really puffed up and cute face when denying it being fanservice so why wouldn't fans that want to see that expression say the line that always causes it (even if they know it's not fanservice)?
And before someone says "because it clearly bothers her" I don't actually know much about music groups but it seems like specific groups will have their own way of commonly interacting with fans at concerts so they might assume that's just how she interacts with them.
^^ Kisama just means 'you' right? but in a disrespectful way- so I dont think 'asshole' is a good translation - I think i'd go with 'damn you' - since it also keeps the 'you' meaning.
The most common translation used for kisama I've seen is "bastard". It's that level of disrespect, but also not really a word anybody takes seriously anymore. It's just an over the top way to talk down to someone, which fits right in with Shamiko's Saturday morning villain approach to things (Don't think this means you've won!).
Got it. Just a different word choice than I'm used to for Shamiko translations.
