There is some definite subtext between the snow girl and fox girl.

There is subtext on snow girl's part, sure. I think the fox girl just likes to randomly tease people because she enjoys seeing the reactions. I don't think there's anything deeper on her side at the moment.

While I agree with you that the subtext here has potential (Like the kabedon part), that part with the ice cream was because certain old lady was watching over them.

I almost though that the chapter would end with the new girl not asking her to be her friend lmao
