Why wouldn't that count ? They did kiss and not an accidental one (they do say "shall we kiss then ?" just before). Plus the photo couple kissing during the shooting (at least the crazy janitor lady got too late for interupting those two), it's not like there was no kiss at all.

But I agree that the whole "gets interupted at the very last second" got old long ago, especially when it was highlighted by the character themselves that apparently considered that it was a better idea to actually mention how they're going to be interupted instead of kissing already so they MIGHT NOT GET INTERUPTED DAMNIT !

Remember, girls. When alone with your would-be girlfriend in your room, in doubt : kiss already !
And go get the drinks and snacks beforehand so your mom won't have any excuse to suddenly barges in.

Yeah, one of the best things about this (aside from the art and diverse character types and body types) is the truthful depiction of adolescent behavior. The chapters in Ai's room were really cute and genuine, with lots of subtle details and moments.

On the topic of Mahiru and Mahiro.
In chapter 94 they say that they are indeed twins (and then get confused who the onee-chan is).
They might be lying or be misinformed but I'm not sure they're even capable of lying.
Since they don't live in the same house and have different surnames, that seems to confirm that their parents divorced and each parent got one of the twins.

An earlier chapter says they're just really good friends rather than related

Someone posted raws for volume 3 bought from the Japanese kindle store (which was trickier to buy from than you'd expect) and I'm doing my best translating it.
