People seem to forget about Renai Manga, her earlier work. Surprised most of the things she published afterwards were a stark contrast from the latter. The sudden shift seems like a desperate attempt to edge out from the yuri scene imho. So this was quite pleasant and a reminder of the elements she first exhibited on her early serialization.

This was quite good. Author seems promising, the art is appealing and easily discernible, pacing as fluid as a current and characters engaging. Definitely keeping an eye from now on.

Finished reading this with a forlorn expression. I have to agree that this was quite a decent resolution to the series. Didn't really expect this caliber of seriousness from Ayukko/Forest Village. I guess I've been long spoilt by the deluge of lighthearted content derived from the desolate ending of the series.

Season 2 made me dislike Riko for reasons stated above. She's involved with all the ships I like, it was certainly infuriating but it didn't stop me from enjoying Season 2 though. It's the best.

Hmmm... So aside from Kurosawa incest Ooshima likes Youhane as well. Guess you really can't stick to one specific ship in Sunshine. Well, certainly not all doujin artist like Mezashi (Yoshimaru), Kanbayashi Makoto (ChikaYou). Let's see how the doujin race unfolds then.
