I don't like character like that, that are unidimensional, just created to add tension and to be hated. I think it's a pretty cheap trope to use honestly and it doesn't add anything interesting to the story. It's written "plot device" all over their face.

If the sole purpose of a character is to make another character looks cool, this is bad writing imo. But it's a webcomic, so I guess I should be more tolerant.

Sucks to suck indeed. Well, hopefully it won't just end here and she actually gets told everything she did wrong there so she at least has a chance to improve. Whether she'll take it is another question, of course, but it would at least help with the complaints about her character above.

As someone who enjoyed this chapter I'm surprised that a couple of people are really hating on it, but ah well you can't please everyone and all that lol
