i fell off reading this a few years ago and now only read it every once in a while out of morbid curiosity. it's like a train wreck i can't look away from lol. all i can say is, someone please tell mashiro about aromanticism before the body count gets even higher. i know that's probably not what the author intended but i haven't seen something THIS aro coded in a while.

It's hard to understand what kind of emptiness they were talking about. I can't remember a single moment where Fuuko was anything like that. I can't even say she and Mashiro are similar in any way. Regarding the eyes, maybe the author is trying to create symbolism in some finale where Fuuko is chosen and her eyes change. In general, knowing how Fuuko perceives everything except Yuni, this emptiness with Mashiro could be exactly that.
But for me, this whole flashback was very drawn-out and uninformative. I expect to see how Mashiro pervert Fuuko, but if that's all, I don't even know what to think.

It's the second time we see "Tsuzuki-senpai", who looks at Mashiro sideways. Maybe she'll be the one to rein in Mashiro.

Local groomer finds out she's aro and copes with it in the worst possible way.

My thought is that Yuni IS Fuuko's salvation as much as Fuuko is Yuni's salvation.

Yuni basically fell out of love with Nanase, because Nanase has zero EQ and is unable to provide what Yuni needs: attention and love.

Now that Fuuko fell out of love with her straight childhood crush, she's absolutely capable of sincerely loving Yuni and shower her with affection. She can absolutely be Yuni's number one, proving Mashiro wrong.

I think we're heading toward a confrontation between Yuni and Mashiro, with Fuuko at stake. I don't think Yuni will be afraid of Mashiro, except maybe because blackmail: as long as Yuni hasn't broken up with Nanase, she's on shaky ground to claim Fuuko.

But maybe that confrontation is where the deadlock will at last unravel.

Though I don't put it beyond the author to cook up a bad ending, with everyone miserable.

I Guess this comment and another one above 'hoping they fuck again' answered my question lol. Idk how anyone thinks Mashiro's issues are related to aromanticism. She has psychological issues.

First time I feel conflicted on finding their entire dynamic hot. They technically don't show what happened during the fade to black, but it's hard to imagine Fuuko wanted to have sex with her in that moment. At the same time, she 1kept the bloody uniform?? Of course that wouldn't make Mashiro's actions right, but Fuuko's feelings regarding her seem to be really complicated.

I actually really like that Mashiro is 100% a villain, and I hope she doesn't get redeemed. It would have to be amazing writing to convince me that she would change into a good person. This Manga has somehow turned the toxicity even higher.

uh... no??? it's just that what she said about not being able to love other people and feeling empty and broken because of that reminds me a lot of how i myself felt (and sometimes still feel) as someone on the aro spectrum. again, i'm aware that's not what the author intended, it's just that line of thinking reminded me of my own experiences. and it reminded me of that so strongly to the point that i felt the urge to make that comment in the first place. but idk, maybe i should've stayed a lurker lol. baby's first discourse!

If you look at the previous pages, she's just apathetic and doesn't refuse Mashiro.

On page 21, you can see Fuuko willingly kissing Mashiro.

Also, the imagery of the spread is clear: she's covering the eyes of her child self herself, symbolizing that she willingly loses her innocence. Emotionless sex doesn't mean rape or dubious consent (also, they have at most a couple years difference).

this manga continues to be SO extra
