I'll be honest, this probably tops my seen list of contrived means of inducing an altered mental state in a fantasy creature. I thought the devil over in Devilishly Sweet Girlfriend getting drunk off perfectly ordinary dried grapes was silly, but this is literally just blood from a specific spot having an arbitrarily different effect.

I feel so, so bad for that teacher. Hopefully she gets a girlfriend who can appreciate her properly soon.
