I think the penile inversion vaginoplasty description is a little incorrect; an animated diagram I saw had it literally pulled through the mons pubis into the peritoneum so the corpus cavernosa could be used for the vaginal walls. This causes it to self lubricate slightly, though not as much as the colon, I'd suppose (as the prostate is what supplies the majority of the penile lubricant).

Anyway, reading this on Mangadex, I sat there really nodding on how people are the same no matter where you go LOL she acts so much like my non-depressed tgirl oomfs

It's not incorrect as such, it's just different places do different variations of the penile inversion. Using just the skin for the vaginal walls is p much the baseline "standard", then there are variations incorporating other tissues.

The surgeon i went to here in Germany used a variation on the penile inversion called the "combined method" where they use most of the tissue available around the corpus cavernosa and also line the vaginal walls with the excess urethral tissue, which provides natural lubrication.

This part stood out to me too; you could tell this was an intensely traumatic experience for her, and covering it with layers of comedy/irony is her way of coping with that trauma. For an overall lighthearted manga it was a pretty striking moment.

Anyway, Yoripi is adorable and I love her. Maybe one day she can meet Camilla again...

I really appreciated the diagrams and explanations of the different kinds of surgeries. Even internationally it varies as well within surgery types. I'm glad Yoripi is such a goofball perv and she got to be open about it from such an oppressed community. It was really funny but the trauma and struggle was still there.

It is also worth noting that the manga is from 2018 and Yoripi's surgery likely happened a couple years before then, so surgical techniques could be very different today from back then.

TBH, I'm not sure how you can get that from chapter 0, it's very much in line with similar manga I've seen from queer creators (including transwomen) from Japan about gender and sexuality? I'm curious why you thought that.
