Ayumu is just so precious my god. I honestly didn't expect a confession so quickly. I guess that means this series is winding down huh. What a shame I was hoping for a new girl introduced for Asuka. Maybe not quote over is Hayumi wants to "learn about herself and her feelings" we could see some dates etc. Though I guess we don't want this series dragged out either.

Either way Our rizz queen finally got her girl again Ayumu is just too precious.

Please god let us have many more chapters of them dating and discovering things together. also, a girl for Asuka too would be great.

Honestly though, I don't think the manga is ending anytime soon. I feel like Hayami has a lot more emotional baggage to unpack (her mom's death and her family, her passion for running), and the start of their relationships is only the beginning of the story. ... Or it's just my copium...

I mean, this is happy enough for an ending, to be sure. But I certainly wouldn't mind it 'dragging' a bit as our leads move forward.

Also I really hope it continues long enough to get to the next track competition at least. It'd be so sweet if she did better there than in the summer one because of Ayumu inspiring her to try longer again. Plus there's still stuff like Hina's brother supposedly visiting sometime, the lights Ayumu saw, and the emotional baggage that both of them still have that could be covered too. And I'd just love to see more of how these two would act while actually in a relationship!

No? The color spread of chapter 1 is pretty much just a colored version of Hina taking Ayumu outside to run with her after rejecting her. Obviously not exactly the same because it was drawn separately, but Hina's clothes and actions match perfectly with that

Asuka already pretty clearly took her last shot last chapter, and even basically prompted Hina to realize her feelings, so I don't see why she would

i could see this going for another zillion years if this date goes inconclusively/mediocre (i say in a desperate attempt to have that not happen). …. I did feel a wave of relief this chapter. Heres to character development progressing the story~!

Addendum: also jumping on the aliens plot bandwagon. Its gonna happen i swear
