My feeling are divided between the sadness from the lack of Velvet x Eleanor on this site and the joy of the great Velvet x Magilou pics

you see lots of fanarts out there because of series popularity, Berseria is just not popular and this site is filled with Magilou x Velvet only because there is literally one guy/gal who draws a couple of Berseria fanarts, and it seems he/she likes this pairing best (even on pixiv is quite hard to find Veleanor, even though Veleanor is the one most close to yuri in this crap)

I took the joke of this to be that Sayaka would play the song and the two of them had to listen to it without rubbing cheeks together for the specified time. Of course, they failed before it even started.

So, this anime is worth watching then?

Not for yuri, but it's still great series.

@katewarner I did and I'm fine. All I did was read up on the characters and their relationships. And I learned about previous events in the manga from different references.

IMO, it's a transboy (short hair) and a transgirl (pony-tail). Because of their design.

But yeah, didn't know that flag before. But now I do. I'm one of the lucky 10.000.

^The majority of people don't enjoy their stories that way and for anyone who wants to follow his example, you should never take an exception as a guide. It's great that you think you enjoyed it just as much as if you had read it all, but most don't.

Unfortunately Waifu and Harem trash are the mainstream... Its what the majority want and consume and it will mean that characters with actual personalities instead of being self inserts and story lines which make sense are a distant dream.
Every now and then we get a good Yuri adaptation, but those are rare and far between.

It seems people here forgot Hilda and Marianne (both from the Golden Deer class) another cute couple that has a paired ending. The only bad thing is you can't recruit Hilda into the Black Eagles unless you choose to oppose Edelgard. Also while Dorothea and Ingrid (Blue Lions) don't have a paired ending they do have a paralogue where after finishing it Ingrid gives Dorothea a ring in a way that looks like a marriage proposal.

^^Same... only thing that made me want to read the first part was Tomoko meeting the college guy again, but... I got better things to do in my life than squirm at cringe.

I actually like the fact that with the obvious exception of Uchi, Tomoko's friends accept Shizuku. They seem to know that both Tomoko and Shizuku benefit from this junior/senior relationship.

I can't really pair Maki with anyone but Nico personally (not saying there's anything wrong with this pairing though) so it didn't really hit me from that side of things, but I really like this art style

Also, I would like to point out that the series is based around WW1, which was before the Nazis. The Nazis actually came around as protesting the debts they had after losing WW1, so it is completely impossible for them to be around at that point in time.
