Does anybody know if any type of "soeur system" ever existed in reality? I've read a little bit on the private Catholic girls' school system in Japan (which itself is kind of a trip), but it wasn't a very deep dive.

The "petite soeur" trope certain has been a boon to the yuri genre, anyway, leading to much chin-tilting, blushing, and whispering in ears.

It's been licensed as "Marrying the Dark Knight (For Her Money)" for a spring 2026 release.

Yeah I wish the title was different, but alas. I'm glad to be able to buy the series in print at least. I also hope the fan translation continues along with the printing.

I mean, yes, it does, but like many LN titles it runs into the problem that the initial premise soon has little to do with the story, which the original title doesn't. Well, I suppose it helps that it's in parentheses, at least it's not "in the garden" level bad a translation.

I know they're trying to maintain the flourishes of the japanese title, but deary me, that typesetting is atrocious
