I figured she'd be in some state of disarray. Now I'm curious if she was just piloting Mute from afar. My thought was that she'd abandoned her old body to travel with her, but not it seems to imply it wasn't a permanent swap.
after rereading the beginning chapters, it isn't crystal clear if Suoh is an android, a clone or hybrid. the final chapter mentions androids and clones, and hints at hybrids when discussing the difference between Suoh and Sanku, but i am a bit confused on what type of being Suoh and the others are if all the humans have died off. next, how is Suzu able to grow if she's a android clone and not a human clone? finally, since Seran is working and living in a research institute, how much of that research includes restoring the biosphere and humans?
again, i realize i'm overthinking the story, but it presents a pretty interesting 'what if' in addition to what meaning the remaining 'inhabitants' have if they're only androids instead of human clones.
