i realize i'm overthinking this story, but...
after rereading the beginning chapters, it isn't crystal clear if Suoh is an android, a clone or hybrid. the final chapter mentions androids and clones, and hints at hybrids when discussing the difference between Suoh and Sanku, but i am a bit confused on what type of being Suoh and the others are if all the humans have died off. next, how is Suzu able to grow if she's a android clone and not a human clone? finally, since Seran is working and living in a research institute, how much of that research includes restoring the biosphere and humans?
again, i realize i'm overthinking the story, but it presents a pretty interesting 'what if' in addition to what meaning the remaining 'inhabitants' have if they're only androids instead of human clones.
