hi, i’m new to the site, but i was wondering if anyone had any good recs for long(ish) completed yuri mangas, preferably set in high school or college, but not too angsty and preferably a happy ending :,)
^ One of my favoritest manga ever is Ayame 14 by Amano Shuninta. If you want happy and funny, it doesn't get better that that. But it's middle school, not high school.
Morishima Akiko has a number of series with a high school setting: Hanjuku Joshi, Motto Hanjuku Joshi and Holy Girl Paradigm. I highly recommend all of them; Morishima is a specialist of happy and fluffy (and at the same time realistic) stories. Hanjuku Joshi and Holy Girl Paradigm have been completed, Motto Hanjuku Joshi (the continuation of HJ) is still running.
I’m looking for some long yuri manga / webtoons / etc. to sit down with for a while. I’ve read quite a few of the greats, but am interested in discovering some new ones. Any ideas?
One of the most popular examples of mother x daughter yuri is 1 x 1/2, though from what I have seen, it's mostly pining.
There is also Yuri Oyako, by the same author as 1 x 1/2

Yes I have been reading those but I was looking for other ones ...

So basically I'm looking for any yuri that revolves around one of the girls having some sort of "flaw" that the other either accepts or helps them to change/accept it. The 'flaw' can be anything really. Something as mild as having a slightly embarrassing interest/hobby (i.e. liking something intended for a younger audience and being embarrassed about it) or as serious as the lingering impact of a tragic event (i.e. a rape, or loss of a family member at a young age etc.) They can either original or doujinshi from any work.

Shiroi Heya no Futari (1971) is considered the oldest yuri manga ever written. It's only one chapter long, horribly depressing and oddly French. Might wanna give it a read if you're interested in the history of the genre.
Alicia from Aqua/Aria: https://dynasty-scans.com/doujins/aria The anime is on Crunchyroll & DVD; there are 2 different official translations of the original manga.
