The interactions between Yuki and Akari are sweet. Yuki genuinely cares about her and shows it in subtle/gentle ways.

Yeah, I don't think having a male lead character is a problem. The story is more 'realistic' in a way and poses some of the challenges the other characters might have to overcome.

Read up to 16 chapters. It's a nice one worth reading; has a lot of drama, sex and some angst.

Read up to 47 chapters. I can't believe Sumin turned out to be a alien cyborg angel succubus from the future.

I read the review on Okazu some time ago and it's quite bittersweet.

Yep. I have the book and it is kind of bittersweet near the end. Overall I liked it, though it can get a little technological and philosophical in the middle with all the talks between the lab people.

Definately top in my yuri classic list. Rio and Sahoko are so perfect together, I especially liked the tender care in the rehabilitation part.

As for the endings... Depending on the moment the manga will be decided to get cancelled, we might get a yuri or a non-yuri end. And only assuming Akili has a chance to finish it without any forced cancellations, I'd expect 60% yuri vs 40% non-yuri end, as of today. Non-yuri doesn't necessarily mean het - the girls could simply grow out of their current relationship and stay friends. But I expect it to stay in the cloudy (yuri-wise) subtext way as long as the series goes. It's in fact what brings value to the series and makes it different from others.

You don't need to worry about cancellations, it's a web manga. It's not tied to any one publishing company, he/she posts it on her/his site.

Well, they do printed books as well, which I've bought ;) just two volumes out now. Looking forward to more and yeah having it in web manga form is also nice.

I bought both in book form from Amazon JP ;) good purchase since I like the gentle story progression, and looking forward to the next chapters whether more yuri or not.

Read it the second time round (because I enjoyed it first time a while a go), it's a jewel in yuri manga.

now, I'm probably just overthinking this, but could this ch.0 flashback have a similar meaning as ch.14 dream? Keiko's hitting on Ran! LOL, imagine, what a possible teasing foreshadowing! xDDD

Hmm, so from her perspective she felt it would happen anyway sooner or later and so it's something she needs to get it over and done with. I don't think she 'loved' the boy (if that was him). I still believe there is something between her and her kyohai and hopefully that would blossom soon ;)
