I really hope Hikari means that in a non literal sense she blushes an awful lot at things Haru says. I really don't want this to devolve into a dumb love triangle and getting angsty because they all work together. Does every Yuri series always have to be either some weird incest story or a love triangle? That's like 90% of all yuri manga I swear.

Also they need to get close an in Sync right? Just fall in love and date already that's a perfect way to do exactly that! Yuu/Haru get on that shit asap.

Was fun to see her back though. I also like that while Haru's voice is great, it's not perfect. If I had a critique of this series, it would be that the characters can sometimes get past obstacles too easily, so it's nice to see that she still has to work towards something.

I appreciate that instead of taking the "you should stay away from my sister" and angsting about it Haru is instead turning those feelings into fuel to improve and stay with Yuu, it's nice considering the alternative would probably feel forced.

Love the double-meaning in the English title. She's a "husky girl" in that her voice is husky, but she's also "husky girl" in the sense of being incredibly dog/wolf coded

I honestly did not expect a confession yet. I was thinking maybe be after this contest but we already know that haru likes her as well the only worry I have is she has zero confidence so it's going to be interesting to see how she replies to said confession... Pretty perfect way to confess though helped her gain a bit more confidence again they're flushing out their song and just boom LOL.

Also I kind of find it unfair that Miyuki even gets to compete in this event she's been with their mom and been training together since she and the mom left and practically just ditched You... If she wants a record contract couldn't her mom just give her a contract? I don't know maybe I'm just reading too much into it I just think it's unfair

It’s honestly crazy that either of the daughters are competing, it would never be allowed in the real world. Narratively, this has to come down to the two of them in the finals, and then Mom has to pick a favorite? Really?

There’s got to be some kind of twist here to work as an escape hatch, because there’s no fair way to settle it with the current rules.

wouldnt be too far fetched from how actual talent contests are ran though they really wouldnt be this obvious. the realistic thing i can think of is the mom and the contest hiding the fact that they're her daughters and considering how she just left one of them, i wouldnt put it past her lmao

My only issue with that is Miyuki actually looks like their mom would be pretty hard NOT to claim here. At least with Yuu she looks totally different.
