What a horrifying visual. I guess that actually gives another layer to Aizawa looking horrified when she began to accidentally possess Kasumi during the festival. She wasn't just lashing out involuntarily, she really was getting sucked in! Very afraid of what will happen to Kasumi and Sayaka next.

This is a really wild guess, but what if Masaki bound Mizu's spirit to Delphi in a similar fashion to Aizawa being bound to Michi? If it happened and was deliberate, that could be why she seemed so nonchalant about what just happened.

I'm not sure if Sou will factor into this or if she's being set up for later... Normally I'd wonder if Michi has seen her, but perhaps those memories were lost. What are the chances of the ghost Michi encountered at that summer festival actually turning out to be that of her own mother? Is there anything that could contradict that?

on this site, I remember reading a one-shot where two girls are watching a horror movie. one is spooked and the other makes fun of her. the next section shows the two as a couple in adulthood, either watching the same one again or another horror. the spooked girl I think is tearing up watching the heroine get killed in front of the main hero. spooked girl's gf almost makes fun of her again, but then she pictures herself in the hero's shoes, cradling her slain gf. I think the last panel was the two gfs cuddling after having reached that understanding.
