Yuni's hunger for office ladies is legendary. Live your best life, girl.

I read a short collection story about her daily life on Dex by Yuni in a 4-koma style. It focused on her life with her girlfriend, who works in an office, so I think she draws a lot of inspiration from her.

Yuni was the one who worked in a office. That comic was told through her girlfriend's POV.

a dark haired top named amamiya and a light haired bottom named akechi…why does this sound familiar?

Glad I wasn’t the only one who made that connection. The best part was that I started up a new playthrough just the other day, so I jumped a little when I saw the names.

It's so refreshing lookiing into the thoughts of manga writers, especially when they are so honest. Kinda reminds me of Naoko Kodama.

this was awesome actually. i hope akechi ends up following in her senpai's footsteps :3

I mean, someone has gotta follow up on the rest of Amamiya's client list, and Akechi has already been introduced by her as a potential successor...

That was hot

Also, took her first time (with a woman) and dipped? Come on bruh

I found the apology silly at the end. Do ppl really get upset at this?

Just yesterday I saw a meltdown on reddit because some people got ragebaited into thinking the author of Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk was saving noncon het fanarts of their own characters. For some reason that false claim was enough for these people to wish death upon the author and call them all kinds of names.

Sometimes I hate the yuri fandom.

I mean, it is true, you can go to their pixiv (2473929) and see for yourself.

Considering how much sexism there is against women in male dominated fields like finance, and the stereotype of women sleeping their way to the top, I understand why she wanted to put a footnote in, even if its a little bit silly.

When you point that out it makes a lot more sense to me, I just wasn't thinking...

Still a BS reason to wish death and be a POS to a human being who makes yuri popular enough to get an anime. Like damn. :/

As someone who actually works in finance, this one was ... interesting.

That's.. disappointing isn't the right word, but it certainly lowers my opinion of him.

Obviously, I'm not justifying it, just clarifying that, that part it's true, I personally don't care about their liking that type of fanart.

Edit: I went again and they unbookmarked it, so people can take it however they like

This is a very similar premise to the multichapter manga this artist has on this site. I wonder which came first? Is this an "idea so good i had to make a series" or "i can't get enough of this idea, i need to make a oneshot" situation... I wonder...

Tbh, that’s probably the least parasocial behavior I’ve seen around an anime airing this spring season. There’s no justification for so-called fans sending death threats to the author that's just low as hell. I saw on Twitter and Instagram that the author of Go For It, Nakamura! was harassed so badly they ended up deleting their account. Apparently, some viewers/readers were upset about the second male lead having a small crush on his teacher, and there were also accusations about the author’s interests being a shotacon. Before leaving, the author posted a note saying something along the lines of, “I can’t make everyone happy,” and hinted at stepping away from being a mangaka.

I don’t think either of these is “least” than the other. H3Y also had to do statements about this (they unbookmarked it so they are aware of the conflict), and the author of said fanart clossed comments on the artwork. Syundei case is a little different, it’s the third time this happened to her (people began to read her works thank to Nakamura's cover fanart and felt “disgusted” that people were doing it without knowing how problematic the work/author was. Even some artists who parodied it hadn’t read it and apologized publicly lol) so this must be the straw that broke the camel's back.
Ok my last comment about this because it’s off-topic!

It's the author's story. Sensei has the right to write how the leads are feeling.
I wish they could insist what they think of about the story, because they create these characters.
I want to see their stories, not trying to get pleased by trying to make their stories mine..

Cause if I wanted to make it mine, I can always write it myself, or imagine it...v.v

Sorry to hear about what sensei has to go through.
I wish that sensei can still be very adamant about their works.
