The subtext tag was kinda not enough starting from at least the confession moment if not earlier, so this change seems more like the result of a long process rather than some big difference in the new chapter.

I think this might be the first we've seen of Airi being more explicitly gay for Nagi? Most of Airi's behavior towards Nagi could plausibly fall under valuing her as a BFF, but that giggling under the covers scene doesn't have a platonic explanation lol.

The fact that the tags change is the same as people arguing over the tags in the comments, it's just the arguing is done by people with the power to change the tags.

I still personally would categorize this series as Subtext or Subtext + Yuri Crush but I'm not invested enough in tagging to argue about it.

Just trying to say: don't read too much into what tags are or are not present.

Re: tags, I do think it was on Yuri Crush for a while, so since Airi seems to be reciprocating now, it makes sense to switch to something else. Though in the end the tags don't really matter much

This one and "Let's Make a Deal: A Hard-Working Girl Living With a Caring Demon" were great finds this year, funny and wholesome food for the soul, top shelf stuff. I'm liking a lot that the "otakus" on display are a little more modern day, we had some exemples of the gacha slave, the furry subculture warrior and vtubing, while not the newest of new version of nerdy/otaku culture it's nice to have some updates. Praying here that Airi and Nagi get oficial soon!
