Ugh I hate the "suddenly hit by a vehicle" trope. It feels so forced and I was worried they might do something like that with the whole talk of contracts and powers. I really enjoy this series in general but this chapter is a sour note for me at least, I just hope it sticks the landing with the next chapter.

That is until truck-kun arrives, in the midst of the disbelief of witnessing that, the "wee woo" vfx just cracked me up real good.
