I don't think so. I did have the same thought after reading the 1st chapter at some point, but there are just too many elements that don't fit. I do think that there is some connection between the two though.

My current theory is that they are sisters or similarly related, and look very closely alike because of that - which might also explain why Sui canceled the date at the last second: She needs some time to console her sister who has been crushed from the rejection. Still feels like a very soap-opera kind of coincidence, but more believable than the two of them being the same person - at least to me.

No, no, that's the other OL series with complicated relationships.

Tbh, there may be some twist there.

Ren, in chapter 2, when she learned that Sui is a college student, remarked that Sui looked older than that, to which she answered "I hear that a lot" and "Guess I look older than I am".

It just may be idle banter and not mean anything, or Chekhov's gun that Sui is indeed older than she pretends to be and is the colleague's old flame she trains herself to seduce.

Also, on the cover page, there's the sentence, "The reason I fell in love, the reason I feel this way, it's all because of you, right?" which could then apply to at least 3 of the women.

I noticed something else. The female colleague has piercing marks on her ears, but doesn't wear earring. It's not random: the marks are present on all the panels we see her ears.

If you look at the page with the "hidden" fourth woman, she wears prominent earrings.

Imo, chances are:

• Sui is older than she pretends to be.
• The 4th woman is Ren's colleague.

tbh tongue piercing girl was definitely jumping the gun, but oof. my heart sank for ren; rejecting one cute girl just to get rejected yourself by your crush...

So they did exchange names at some point, Ren just couldn't even be bothered to remember hers...ouch. I still really like tongue piercing though, hope she gets another chance soon.

Sui changing her mind about the date does line up really neatly with Ren telling her colleague to just "roll with it" so I'd be willing to believe she's the 4th woman. She doesn't have wavy hair but Touma gives a lot of care and attention to her characters' appearance so it's more likely to me that she just styles it differently outside of the office or something like that.

God I'm liking this manga even more each chapter, yes girl go get her outside of the rental service (a character being named Suichan is flashing an image of hoshimachi suisei in my head constantly tho lmao)

The story with her coworker happened 3 years ago, and it was with their superior, which we can easily assume is older than her. Even if Sui pretends to be younger than she is, that would be quite the stretch.

Edit: two other things that don't add up to me.
* Sui seems to be genuinely flustered by everything that is happening during her date with Ren. She is either pretending to be an inexperienced maiden, or she just is (which I think is it).
* She seems to have colored hair (to be fair, she doesn't on the cover, but she clearly doesn't have the same hair color in the manga, as we can clearly see a fading). If she is an office worker, that is very unlikely. It's more logical for a college student.

I'm not sure I believe in most theory being written her, but I do enjoy reading them though!

I feel like I've missed an important page or I'm misinterpreting something in this conversation. Where do we see enough of either of the hidden characters to know one of them wears prominent earrings? I keep thinking of the spread on pages 2 and 3 of chapter 1, but that can't be it because we only see the hair of one character and the arm of the other.

This is a fairly standard machine to work on the pectoralis group muscle. I've seen some in Japan, but looking up online, those machines are also in other countries.
