It's actually slaving to death in a 7-to-18 office job doing nonsensical tasks at the whims of a supremely incompetent nincompoop who reflexively kicks down whenever confronted with the limits of nepotism whilst your peers conspire against you in corporate eat-or-be-eaten culture.

I highly doubt this manga would go into it, but I assume there are angels since there are devils and hell is being brought up, if the series went on long enough I wonder if there would be an angel-type character to "save" MC from her devil girlfriend?

Lily's Dad and Mom were made for each other. They both said there was no love, but after seeing the current Dad and Momma, I am not buying that; they have their own sweet little thing going, and she even seemed excited to catch him for dinner later. Mai and Lily are so cute together. The series is sugary sweet, just like its name implies. Being a succubi does add some harmless spice, fantasy, and unpredictability, though, and I think that greatly elevates the series above other fluff to me. That extra wrinkle of Lily needing to overcome her instincts is extra fun and facilitates these extra heartfelt moments that stand out compared to more vanilla pairings. That hug from Lily, for example, means more in this series than a similar hug would in another.

... that being said I'd think it maybe would be more interesting if their relationship still was that way. Obviously this manga being all fluff it was expected it wasn't going to do anything too serious, but you know. Just would be something rare to see ^^

I think there is still a bit to Lily's old folks' story that remains to be told, specifically on how they went from being satisfied with casual sex to having a child together.

Possibly future arc where she returns from Heaven to scold her daughter for dating a half-succubus/devil? Feels like the sorta symmetry you see in this type of story, but on the other hand, also feels a bit far-fetched ...

I also had the thought that Mai might be an angel, and that it might be a bit far fetched. So maybe if there's a few of us thinking something along those lines it might not actually be that crazy lol
