Could you please tell me if there's any news regarding the series' author? I know there will be a second season of the anime in production, but since the author announced his hiatus due to health issues, it's been a long time. Did something serious happen to him? I'm worried, because maybe he may have discovered that he didn't expect his series to be so successful here in the West, despite its controversial content.

I didn't want to take this subject negatively, I want to know more information about it.
