i kind of hate endings where they confess, kiss and walk off to the future together on principle, especially since they didn't even show the damn kiss my god, but it was at least beautiful and felt appropriate for the tone of the series. it was all just too predictable- you could see exactly how it would end like, years ago.

i've read too much yuri to be satisfied with this kind of fairy tale ending anymore.

I dunno, I felt like last few chapters we were stalling a bit if anything :P doesn't help we got them over like a year though.

... and yeah, straightfoward ending - I'll admit I didn't remember that this whole big fucking deal was only about being the main pair on that quadrille thing, I was quite surprised to see literally everyone on there anyway.

This was a good series though, had some very strong moments - I particularly enjoyed the fever dream sequence from ch16, I think it will stay with me for a long time - very well executed.
