I love how there's no unnecessary drama, no one is dying, no "will they, won't they" until the very last chapter, just two idiots in love going through life, it's perfect.

No. Thus far she's only been making music for herself and lately for Aya. She only decided to go to the Christmas party at Hime's house to meet her music producer father after being pushed by Aya, uncle Joe and Kanna, and she ended up ditching it anyway. It's very likely she'll eventually go that route since she did end up meeting Hime's father later and he noticed she's a diamond in the rough, but as of now she hasn't expressed the wish to go pro yet.

Something just occurred to me ... it's never been said where Aya is going to be attending Uni.

It could be a long way away - so her promise to look after Joe's "precious niece" may have been made without thinking of the repercussions if the Uni is not somewhere within easy commuting distance.

This chapter really hit me with a feeling of the series wrapping up, maybe it's only this part of their lives though? Maybe we'll see what comes after high school for them along the likes of Kase & Yamada. I'm curious.

I know this is a work of fiction and all the rest, etc., etc., but I'd REALLY love to get a listen to that album she made. Hell, Mitsuki's musical choices would give incredible insights into her personality and really let us get to know her as a person.

Albums for fictional works are very much a possibility, one example being band anime such as Bang Dream that make music for the series. Bang Dream even has concerts that the VAs behind the characters perform. So I think it's very possible to get an official album for this series, that would be an album that Mitsuki would make. Especially with the anime adaption in the works and that increasing the likelihood of official music being made for the series.

It's just spring, Sakura blossoms fall in spring, often around graduation time. It's a common trope in anime because it's a thing that often happens in real life. Chill.
