This has been fun even if I don't quite see why these two might end up as an item. Looking forward to see how that works. Really tired of the childhood friend going on to to introduce the love triangle element but they say cliches are cliches for a reason.

Love this art style, but knowing this author I didn't put my hopes up for the story. So I only flip through without really letting myself get into it. Looking at the latest development, I think I did right.

I think it's clicked for me why I'm enjoying this series so much. They all remind me of phases of my own HS life. Awkward yet self assured nerd, sports brained athlete, and quietly pining musician. These morons scratch an itch in my brain and I'm looking forward to how this continues

I do get the pain of the classic childhood friend trope, but I'm not feeling a whole lot of sympathy for her ATM, not gonna lie.

Finally she gets that she has a rival, even if her rival had to spell it out for her to make it clear. :D

As long as Asuka keeps quiet, though, she doesn't really seem to be a problem, seeing how Hina actually came looking for Ayumu in the end there.

Yeah, Asuka seems more like she's trying to scare Ayumu off rather than actually win Hina over. I feel like she really doesn't have a chance of actually gaining Hina's romantic affection, and probably knows it, and this is more her way of lashing out at Ayumu who seems to be making dents in Hina's lack of interest in love

I never have sympathy for these characters, they are always written so useless. They never do anytthing with their feelings for years, always decide they are just happy being with her but when suddenly someone actually loves the other person and actually shows it, they suddenly get possessive and try to stop it and act like only they have the right to love that person.

The childhood friend is not a rival, she isn't even part of the competition, she is just running next to track pretending she is part of the race.
