I wonder if this one is going to cover Nanoha's near fatal injury (I think it was only shown as a brief flashback somewhere? I think the event occurred after A's and before Strikers?). If that is the case then Fate may not show up till later.

The alternate timeline issue aside, Nanoha's injury occurred when she was 11 in the primary timeline, and she is 13 here.

IIRC Midchilda has always been very deliberately a Star Trek-like futuristic utopia, with TSAB effectively being its Starfleet.

That feels like an alternate universe from the main series. At least there's Nanoha and hopefully, Fate won't be long to join, but yeah, that first chapter feels kinda out of place, somehow. Very little exposition as to what's going on and why a 13yo Nanoha is actually working for some military force.

Guess I'll give it a couple more chapters to see how it goes.

Fate is looking so cool in this manga, she never disappoints. Hope she gets her prince-ponytail when we see her new barrier jacket.
Depending on how the plot progresses, I wouldn't be surprised if Nanoha ends up fighting Fate-fangirls instead of robots.

Actually, yes? Nanoha had to be acting on reflex, or else Zeo would have been seeing what Nanoha chose to show instead of how she normally fights. It certainly wasn't very polite, but it's understandable when a very suspicious person is potentially putting his family's safety in jeopardy.

New teaser with yet another character for a 2026 anime, and next chapter apparently December 31? Wonder what's cooking up.

I honestly don't know how to feel about this. Maybe it's me not caring about all the new characters but I just want them to focus on the already established ones

not a huge fan of Raising Heart's new look. Bardiche at least is back to being an Axe after his short stint as a broadsword in Reflection and Detonation, but he still looks weird
