Did Aya only JUST figure out that between her and Mitsuki, they've given their friends the western music bug?

That was my question too. I haven’t re-read the relatively recent chapters to see exactly when and how that “we’re all hanging out together listening to Western music” thing happened, but I did think it was well-established by now.

Maybe Aya has just been so besotted with Mitsuki/stressed about her exams that her wider situational awareness was impaired.

But why is she using "ore" in Aya's mind?

I don’t think those headlines are supposed to be interpreted as literally said/coming from the person they’re about. ( i.e. Narita isn’t saying “The Good Boy”) I think it’s supposed to be more of an omniscient narrator kind of appellation. And as someone else said, there’s a kind of “no fucks given cool” vibe to phrasing it that way.

Truth is, the game was rigged from the start.

Mitsuki growing her hair out really makes it feel like a good bit of time has passed. Or it it just a new hair cut? Either way her new look really makes her switching from quiet classmate to ikemen mode go even harder.
