I guess before they were kinda-sorta-not dating but now they're like actually together. So far it seems like we've only seen the edges of the relationships so one day I hope we get a kiss. Now that I think about its kind of ironic that the manga which characters are constantly drunk is rather restrained lol

I've felt for a while that this series is extremely hard to follow, and that's not changing any time soon it feels like.

It's definitely hard to follow sometimes, and that would usually annoy me, but there's something charming about how you are showed only glimpses of the whole story.

Like, there are a million yuri series' more deserving of adaptations but I'm still super excited for this one fskfjshd. It's a personal favourite of mine and it looks fucking gorgeous. I'm not sure how they'll adapt the sort of all over the place way this story is told if that makes sense but I'm excited to find out :3

Personally, I'm excited for the adaptation. Watching a low-key slice of life anime with beautiful visuals about sapphic women drinking seems like a great way to spend my time.

God, that is such a perfect description of this entire series. It's like watching Star Wars but the only scenes are when someone has to take a piss, is falling asleep, or eating breakfast.

Geodata/mapping nerd here - I'm think it's the Rikkyo University campus? Based on the exteriors at the start Ch 4. - the artist's attention to scene-setting and detail is great, the odd missing limb aside. And that would make sense from pov they're doing more technical subjects. Still a heck of a commute, 1.45hrs odds, no wonder they skip off to the pub a lot. I even considered doing a geo-linked guide to the series; managed to identify around 90% of the locations and venues though Street View, but the dorm house is odd: big ole house, clapboard panelling and reticulated windows, set in leafy grounds - Chichibu building styles look plainer, so maybe it's a bit idealised. Who's overthinking? :D The bar culture was another reason I started reading, planning to visit some of those dens this year. There's a sister bar to the Chichibu's Highander here in Scotland, sensei runs it like a cocktail ninja.

I feel like I've only seen this kind of product placement in yuri series, where it's actually pretty common. I don't terrible mind, but it's a little odd.
