It's a rather common modern criticism of the Zombie setting that it's merely an excuse to indulge in killing people. This series at least doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to that.
Haa, thanks for pointing it out. I knew there was something that "felt right" with this but I couldn't put my finger on it.
Indeed, it's clear that Eko isn't particularly sane, nor is Risa, actually. The zombie setting seems to let them indulge in that insanity, so I'm really curious of what they'll do. A zombie apocalypse (and apocalypse in general) setting gives a lot more leeway in what directions things could go.
Or to put in more succinctly, the setting makes violence an option, and options are good when thinking about what could happen next !
But... let's just say I'm not here expecting fluff.
