Why would you put two fan favorites against each other in the very first round with Ruruka and Kurohime? You're supposed to seed brackets like this (using some kind of metric like "number of chapters they've appeared in" or "number of fan art tagged with them on pixiv" etc) to separate giants like that.

Yeah I wouldn't expect Ruruka to have many fans since she's often the butt of jokes or portrayed in an unflattering light. I also would've seeded her fairly low as an easier opponent for actual fan favorites.

I'm still rooting for the Yanagi girl. That punk is so suave. And I guess OG ep1 class pres, Kamisada I believe. Got her multiple times. But overall, Rin deserves better honesty!

Props to mochi for writing TD's character development. Love how she is motivated by drama and attention but ends up encouraging everyone around her to be better, until they fall for her authenticity. Aww. The hype-team over TD and ShiraShiro made me kick my feet too hehe.

I wonder if she will replace her old catchphrase with "Sorry but I already have a girlfriend" every time someone tries to fuck her in the future...

The sequel series will be called "Okay, I might be into yuri!" And then the chapter titles will be things like "but I already have a girlfriend" or "but you honestly creep me out".

I do not forsee Ruruka being much competition to Kurohime. When the next round comes back around, though... That should prove more dicey in a way that Rin just ain't gonna have to contend with until the finals. But then, Rin would be a powerhouse no matter where she got seeded.

And as an aside, Oikawa is really growing on me. She's athletic, canny, enthusiastic, but also chill. I might not ship her with TD, but she's got a lot going for her. Maybe too much, actually. Nearly every character we've had any serious time with in this series has had prime opportunities to show off their worse natures as well as their better ones, but not so much with her or at least not yet.
