I thought the same thing, I was excited to see it was by Kuwabara Tamotsu, but I found it a bit dull but it does have potential, like how it can have a sequel and develop into a love hate relationship, like in black and white.

As a concept it’s interesting to see—

Girl A gets annoyed by Stoic Girl B who (I assume) plays with people’s emotions for the sake of getting good content (YouTuber brained type of gal, clearly), or rather references for her manga

And then Girl A does something that actually throws Girl B off

Kinda reminds me of the Sal Jiang manga when I word it like that ngl…

I wonder how self referential this is for the author? Pure speculation there.
I do like the end, a total reversal where Nonomura's latched on to her for "interesting" reactions to draw from

Yeah, it definitely felt like the mangaka didn't know what they wanted from this story. The MC was just an ass and the mangaka in the story didn't do anything. Seems like MC was jealous her crush (or just the guy she thought was into her) wasn't into her.

It has an interesting premise but failed to execute it.

Lol, I thought this was so fun and interesting, and then I see the comments. It's refreshing to see characters that aren't the usual archetypes. Both were genuinely more interested by the other than they cared to admit and the ending looked like the start of a fun new dynamic.

A lot of one shots need a sequel because they are just that good

This is a oneshot that needs a sequel because it's not quite enough.
