The 4 page format is both a curse and a blessing, but I think it's the only reason I'm still following this, since it's not a huge investment of my time even if I quite frankly stopped enjoying it a while ago :P

So many random ass secondary threads that even if they make sense, it will take forever for them to actually resolve. I just don't feel like this is a story that will one day come together, it's more like a yuri version of some newspaper strip like Garfield or whatever. It's just The Beatles instead of lasagna or something, don't pick apart this analogy too closely :P

You took the thoughts right out of my head. Just when I think we’re getting somewhere there's yet another new plot happening. At this point I’m tempted to wait until I see an END tag because I’m starting to wonder if we’ll even get anything after that two get together. Assuming they do at all.

It’s been a storyline since Kanna showed up way back. Not a new plot line. And Kanna has been projecting onto Aya this whole time. Joe and Kanna have been running parallel with Aya and Mitsuki like a cautionary tale of sorts for the MCs. It’s been blatant the whole time.

Yeah it has. I think people are a bit upset because they've been waiting a while for a big moment for our main two and it seemed right around the corner but now there's a pile of previously understated obstacles threatening to extend things again. That's the vibe I'm getting. Seems more like patience is beginning to run thin.

But which is worse, living without thinking or thinking without living? I honestly don't know. As someone whose life seems to have been the latter so far, they both seem just as destructive.

given that the prom is happening on Christmas, I reckon we can expect some form of resolution or at least climax around our Christmas time, so strap in.

Agreed. Honestly it has become more of an advertisment for good bands than anything else for me

Both are life is all about balance and even then the craziest part is you are going to miss things that's ow time works, that's how circumstance works. It sucks cause that balance cant yield everything

So much just happened in just 4 pages... oh well That photo of Oosawa's beautiful dress helps Koga make a clearer decision about whether to go to prom with Oosawa or attend the music event. From this chapter, their intentions are becoming more clear. Oosawa getting a dress shows she's set on going to prom. but It also seemed like Koga wanted to go to prom with Ossawa from the get go judging but the line "if she wanted to go to prom, she could've just said so..."

I once had a teacher who said, “Stories are mainly about characters getting information—who knows what, when they know it, and how they get the information,” which didn’t sound right at first, because sometimes there’s also heads getting chopped off and car crashes, etc., but on further reflection the idea had an astoundingly wide application anyway.

This chapter is not an exception to that rule.

That reaction from Mitsuki kinda sounds to me like she was hoping for, or at least open to, an invitation to prom from Aya. She might even think this means Aya got a different date...

I think we knew that from earlier. Aya was the one to push her to this music event. Mitsuki never got the chance to make a choice before. She even asked Aya about Aya's wanting to go to the prom, but if I remember, Aya lied. I assume Mistuki always wanted to go.

Now, we'll see if Mistuki just says this to Aya (and vice versa) or if we go the other route in which they both say nothing and act moody instead. Considering the story's history, I'm heavily leaning towards option 2, but hoping for an early Christmas surprise.

Yeah Aya unilaterally decided that Mitsuki meeting a record producer was more important than their relationship because "I don't want to get in the way of her music" or something. A choice that is blowing up in her face atm. Ironically a disaster that could be better for her than having her choice stand, since this gives Mitsuki an opportunity to tell her off for it before it's too late.

Probably worth keeping in mind the author drew Aya and Mitsuki at prom as one of the extras for the series quite a while back.

I’d guess it’s more of a “kerfuffle” than a “disaster”—the chances of not having at least some scenes at the prom are vanishingly small.

I mean it was so obvious that the two would go to the prom or at least do their own little prom/dance. Why else take the time to set up one getting a suit and one a dress...

Chat seems pretty critical of Aya's side, and she did lie, but I can also understand. They'd made up, so asking right after to Mitsuki if she wanted to go to prom, despite knowing that she had a good opportunity with a music producer at the same time, and thus making her choose between the two felt wrong. It should have made Mitsuki uncomfortable, and it makes sense between friends to try not to put the other in a uncomfortable situation.

"I can't take this anymore." Well girl, don't then. Time to open up ! Now that Mitsuki knows, the option to make thing least uncomfortable and painful for her is to just say the truth, so... Congrats on putting yourself in a corner where "forward" is the only good direction.

Thinking without living is worse. Thoughts are much more forgetabble. In 10 years, won’t remember what you used to think about.
You will remember flashes of memories though, places you used to see, people you used to talk to, etc., pictures you can review/videos you can rewatch.

It’s always better to touch grass than be depressed about something immaterial.

Not sure why people are saying that Aya lied. At the time she told Mitsuki she wasn't going to prom she actually wasn't planning to go. She changed her mind after talking to Kanna.
